Yin Yoga
In this style of yoga, we hold the poses for 3-5 minutes to allow gravity to stretch the ligaments, tendons, and fascia. We start with meditation and then progress with poses that focus on opening up the upper body and releasing tension in the hips, low back, and hamstrings.
What to Bring: A bottle of water, a towel, and a yoga mat. Wear fitted workout clothes, ideally ones that wick away moisture.
Suggested Props: A bolster, a block, meditation pillow, a blanket or strap.
