Our story.
Yoga Unlimited launched in 2017 with a 200 hour yoga teacher training followed by a 300 hour yoga teacher training. The founder, Stacy Smith, has been teaching yoga for over 40 years and has studied many styles of yoga. Her knowledge of yoga and her interests in developing and growing teachers is a gift she wants to share, so the yoga teacher trainees can learn and share their love of yoga to as many people as possible.
In February of 2023, Yoga Unlimited and Stacy Smith found a studio home at 8809 E Oak Island Drive on the second floor of Island Healing Chiropractic and Wellness Center. Dr Karen Fairfiled approached Stacy with the task of teaching 8-10 men who played tennis and wanted to work on flexibility, balance and core strength. She took on the challenge and next thing she was approached by pickleball players and golfers. That one class grew into 4 classes just for men and then led to classes for anyone in many styles of yoga.
All participants want to stay active throughout their lives. Yoga for everybody and every BODY!
