I was a yoga practitioner for several years before I joined the RYT 200 program. However, being a student of the Yoga Unlimited program changed my life! Not only did the detail-oriented approach to the practice teach me how to settle into a pose on my mat to get the maximum benefit, but the theory and rich discussions around the science of yoga helped me understand the why it was important to listen to my body in that pose. I liked it so much, I signed up for the 300 hour program as well! I was given the flexibility to learn more about what I was interested in, and make the learning personal. I am a mental health professional, and Stacy gave me the opportunity to tailor my thesis around yoga for mental health. I walked away with a solid understanding of how I can incorporate yoga into my sessions for mental health. But most importantly, I highly recommend Yoga Unlimited if you are looking to belong to a community of dedicated yogis, and lifelong friendships!
